CECO offers a complete line of FIBRE BED MIST
ELIMINATORS and SYSTEMS to abate liquid mist
emissions. The fibre bed mist eliminators, also
referred to as FIBRE BED FILTERS or CANDLE FILTERS,
are optimal for removing sub-micron liquid aerosols
from gas and air streams. Collection efficiencies as
high as 99.9% can be achieved. Air streams and
process gases can be made free of pollution or
hazard problems and valuable material can be
collected even in heavy liquid loading situations.

CECO designs and manufacturers, in plants in the US
and India, fibre bed coalescing filters for standard
or custom applications. Filters can be constructed
of various corrosion resistant materials depending
on the parameters of the service. Materials include
Hastelloy, Tantalum, Alloy 20, 316 Stainless, FRP
and plastics as well as standard carbon steel.
Filters are typically constructed in annular
cylindrical from 0.6 m to 6.0 m. CECO also offer
their patented TWIN-PAK Nestled Filters for higher
gas flows and removal rates based on higher surface
areas per size of filter.
